Hello! I'm Lukas Wiec, photographer in Reykjavík and founder of LukasArt

For fourteen years I've followed natural light around the world — from quiet kitchens to mountain ridges at dawn — chasing the feeling of a moment more than the moment itself.

LukasArt began as a single film camera and a stubborn belief that photographs should feel like memories, not advertisements. Today it's a small studio, but the philosophy hasn't changed: be patient, be present, and let people be themselves.

I live and work in Reykjavík, but I travel for sessions anywhere in Iceland. I photograph portraits and families, weddings, christenings and first communions, people with their pets, architecture and interiors, and Icelandic nature. In 2025 one of my images took third place in the Efling photography contest.
